We also had experienced receivers last year and the scheme wasn't an absolute fricking joke last year. My point is that if you put Mettenberger in this scheme with the way we've handcuffed our players and put him out there with the all-around effort that we saw across the board on offense last night, I don't see how his output could have been THAT much better. Yes, Jennings is not good. But putting it all on him is lazy and doesn't look at the big picture. We need a complete overhaul of what we're trying to do on offense.

And the offensive line completely quit last night as well. And before they completely quit, they were playing like absolute dog shite. Pretty plainly obvious.

We don't have experience anywhere this year, which is why we have to run a BS scheme. Jennings can't hit a man wide open 10yds away, he's definitely not playing in the scheme designed for Mett. Harris doesn't look ready. Looking at the way we have to call plays with him, he doesn't seem to know much of the offense. Also, idk if I would want him playing behind this O-Line, he's a twig. People assume our coaches are stupid, but we all know what they say about assuming. They have a lot more info than we do.
