as for me, i didn't care who won it, as long as they were good... from what i saw personally, he wasn't good... white, brown, yellow, polka dotted, whatever... he wasn't a good QB...

Of course, it's also the easiest descriptor.
In any case, I hoped Rettig would beat him out too.
I hoped so because I think having to hope the true freshman is the ready is dangerous and so, Rettig was the most experienced potential replacement and he had good recruiting data.
So, I guess I hoped the white kid would win, but only because well, the other kid didn't seem so good.
