Capital City Crawfish is seriously legit

Just wrapped up a wonderful Saturday lunch at CCC. The owner was super friendly and gave us some free "salmon candy" and cracklins to try. Both were very good. I had the N.O.-style roast beef poboy. It was great and came on Leidenheimer bread and was real roast beef, not Manda or some other presliced crap like most places in this city use. Wife got a half-dozen boiled crabs for $10. They were fresh out of the pot and perfectly seasoned. They had a lot of other items I wanted to try including the "sweet tails" poboy which are crawfish tails dipped in a sweet potato batter and then fried. This guy seems to know what he's doing. Only bad thing we ordered were the boiled shrimp which were overcooked and hard to peel. Everything else was on point. I'll definitely be a return customer. Their location isn't great, hidden in the Piggly Wiggly shopping center on Government, but they seemed to be doing pretty decent business.
