What's the projection on this thing crashing into something we don't know about. Or sucked into some black hole?
Also, judging by the tracker, we shot these things off in the same direction. Seems like we could have covered more ground shooting them in opposite directions.

Actually, no.
Both probes gained much of their velocity by gravitational slingshots around Jupiter and Saturn. They had to be right there when Jupiter and Saturn were.
