Hopefully he does not affect the outcome.

SEC ref: 'I know I made a mistake'

The presidents and AD's of the SEC need to demand more credibility. This was ridiculous. And the calls in last week's LSU/Bama game, for and against both teams, won't be the last "Birmingham Agenda" frickup.

This guy seems to be more mistake prone than downright biased (e.g. Ritter), which I'd actually prefer if the mistakes tend to even out over time.

Marc Curles, the SEC ref who makes his living as a Birmingham, Ala.-based financial planner, would laugh it all off, all the abuse … if he didn't hurt so much.

At least is it not Ritter and his group. I feel like they are the crew that just makes the wrong calls all the time. Good refs know the game and know how to call it fair. They let everyone play within limits. They don't call stupid cr_p at a crucial time of the game. The time for the Alexander call is early to set the tone....not with a minute left in the game. They just don't understand how to call a game. That crew might be fine men but they are not good game refs in my opinion.

I always feel like they are against us when they call an LSU game. It is almost like you are just sitting out there just waiting for something stupid to be called. As a player, it may be better to be a bad actor and dare them to call the obvious which I don't think they always do.

I my heart of hearts, I don't believe they are biased, just bad. Watched them call a non-LSU game about a month ago and it was the same stupid stuff and the endless huddles up for consultations. The SEC needs to break this group up and move Mr Ritter into another capacity.

As for Curles, he may have admitted the big mistake from a few years ago but I don't really notice any bias from his crew.

Hopefully will be a good game tonight and well-officiated !!

Ughh. 40 million per school and we can't have competent officials.

Nothing really on the line so it'll probably be called straight.
