who knows what the lakers intend to do...
i think they are tanking, both to keep their draft pick this year, and to clear the books for 2016
eric gordon is not going to mess up their tank, in fact he may help with that
. in any event, he comes off the books before the spending spree in 2016, even if he were to opt in for next year with the lakers. and you never know, EG back in LA might re-ignite his career, and get them a player they can use as a trade chip/expiring
i would take nash's contract + wesley johnson back for EG in a heartbeat

If they don't pick up Gordon (or any other new money) they'll have over $30 million in cap space next year and I hear Gasol is someone they're interested in. I think they'll try and keep their options open.

Anything expiring or minimal money coming back for Gordon would get 100% approval on this board.
