I've never seen one fail that wasn't caused by the user or shoddy work by a backyard "gunsmithing". Notice that those that automatically state DPMS is not reliable or lesser in quality can never quantify their statements. Considering DPMS supplies parts to some of these so called better manufacturers it kind of rings hollow. They use the same source for raw forgings that Colt, FNH, RRA, Spike's, and many others use.

The company served as a precision machine shop manufacturing M-16, M-14 and M203 parts for Army contracts. During this time, Mr. Luth also brokered M-16/AR-15 Mil Spec parts for the commercial markets.
