It's frustrating because we are a good team. Dallas game aside, we easily could have won any or all of the Ls. If we can just learn to finish games and hold serve in our shitty division, we'll be a dangerous team come playoff time

Those facts that show the narrow margin of parity in the NFL. Sad to say this year's team reminds of Dallas recently. I counted this as perhaps the best Saints team ever "on paper". There is enough talent. Payton is still a good coach. This year it seems they are going for it ala killer instinct but just missing in execution. In 2009 there was a definite sense of luck and the ball bouncing our way. Some years like this, it seems the bounce goes the other way. But in the long marathon NFL seasons there is still plenty of time for that magic to kick in (thinking 2011 NY Giants at 7-7 on to beating the undefeated Pats). Thankfully they can try and get it together in this year's crap division.
