I'm still so dumbfounded by this play and how it was allowed to happen. And of course every sports show decided to air the replay like a thousand times, making it more frustrating.

That kind of throw gets picked off probably 99% of the time but of course the Saints have to be the team that allows it.

1. We will hopefully sign 1-2 new corners this offseason. Veterans who have proved they can play in the NFL.

2. Draft another corner. One that can actually see the field over an undrafted rookie free agent.

3. Fire our secondary coach and get someone in who can coach up these players.

It's really mind blowing how you allow that to happen.

Just like the blown coverage at the end of the Cleveland game that lost it for us. Just sucks our secondary went to shite so quickly with Greer going down.

It's priority #1 in the offseason for me whether its through FA or draft. We have to get help there.

You can't really blame White for wanting to contain the reverse lateral 30 yards down the field. It's an important mistake defenses seem to make a lot.

On serious note, i'd really like to know if I should be mad at white more than the safety.

Vacarro ran towards middle of field (usually happens on QB rollouts). For some reason, Kaep was allowed to run all the way to the sideline, stop, take 2 steps forward to launch a 50 yarder. Poor hustle by DLine IMO.

It was on vacarro. Either way the first down is being made even if vacarro stays with Crabtree. Davis was open behind the sticks and I doubt white would have been able to close on Davis in time if vacarro stays home.

There's really nothing else you can say except "That's typical Saints 2014 football." It's frustrating.

I would MUCH MUCH rather:

1. sign some experienced oline

2. Draft some beast rookie olineman

3.fire our oline coach and beg Kromer to come back.

The defense is more than good enough to maintain and manage games.

Brees and Payton put them in situations this year where the defense has to win the game because the offense already threw it away. That's bullshite. It's not the way this team should play, and you dumb fricks refuse to acknowledge or admit it.

It's been their m.o. all season. You leave the game on the line with the defense. It's going to be a loss. However, the 49ers offense got dominated. They had one good drive the entire game. Brees caused an early 14 point swing and then periodically shite the bed throughout the game, which is why they won. It's also why they won in 2011 and 2012. Don't turn the ball over and we win, plain and simple.

Definitely. Besides Lewis there isn't much hope for us in the secondary (excluding safeties here.)

Meh... I'd prefer a corner in FA. We never draft good corners. I trust our luck in the FA more than with the draft, which I think we should focus our emphasis on an ILB or OL.

I know I'm getting a downvote for this, but Dennis Allen anyone? Our DBs were going after the ball with success when he was with the Saints.

If Hicks, or Walker whichever it was, would have hustled on that play he could have easily gotten enough pressure on Kap that he couldn't complete that pass. But he got around his guy and just walked to the sidelines for some idiotic reason that still pisses me off.
