Same story every damn week.

One or two picks or fumbles from Brees.
Defense gives up at least one or two huge WTF blown coverage plays.
Trail most of the game, take the lead at the end, just to blow it as time expires.

I agree.

Saint's window has closed. Brees taking it to the bank with a smile. Slaying pussy, making babies, spending the moolah. He got no worries.

The organization is on a decline. period. 4-5 record sucks.

Me too. When I attach my ego to something, it's aggravating when they're not successful.

Ya, total heartbreakers. Good teams figure out how to win those close games. This year that is not us. Goddamnit that one hurt. Flashback to 2011 at Candlestick. Jeebus.

The only loss of the Saints five losses so far where the Saints weren't in it till the very end was the Cowboys game. Just this game and the Browns game alone, if the Saints would have stopped them on a game-deciding 4th down play, they would be 6-3 right now. They should not have lost to Detroit, and the Falcons game was also another game this team should have won.

Other than the Tampa game, the Saints have crumbled in the critical point of close games. They just cannot find a way to close out games when the game is on the line. The Saints were impressive in the past couple of games with big wins over the Packers and Panthers, and despite the loss, they fought hard against the Niners.

Their only saving grace is that they're playing in a struggling division this year, which, at the moment, they're still in 1st place. Carolina and Atlanta are only a game behind though, so the Saints have to rebound and get back to winning at home these next couple of weeks to stay on top in the division.

Yup. Haven't even scrolled but I bet you have people referencing the bad division and whatnot. Incredible.

I'm not as pissed off. I mean, the whole build up before this year and the poor start really lowered my expectations.

still plenty of time to make something for this year but I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat.

you know?

Missed the two weeks before this one? How'd you end up in the coma?
