Okie State I think had an advantage in both those stats in 2011. They may have put Bama in based on the eye test, but Okie State had a better schedule and more wins over good teams

I agree with this. You may recall that the computers preferred Oklahoma State but the humans preferred Alabama, I think largely based on reputation. I think the team from Norman would gotten more respect than the team from Stillwater if they had the same resume.
