Is this based on where they were in the final regular season poll?
Like I don't think in 2005 OSU gets in. Oregon does at 10-1 IMO
2006, not sure LSU gets in. The Vile was 11-1, as was Wisky. If they take "conference champs" an 11-1 Vile may get in

This is based on the final BCS rankings. Ohio State and LSU finished ranked #4 in 2005 and 2006 respectively.
