But their best win is what, Stanford?

3 of those Stanford losses were on the road against teams in the top 10. The other was against a good USC team. Like I said, Stanford would be favored against all but 8 teams in the country on a neutral field. LINKThey are a very good team who've played an absolutely brutal schedule and lost all of their games where they were beatable.

But the point y'all can't comprehend is how hard it is to be 7-0(outside of FSU). If Notre Dame has a 90% chance of winning each game, its still a less than 50% chance of going 7-0. What's impressive isn't 1 of those individual wins. Its the implied odds that Notre Dame wins those games more than 9/10 times. That's why its so ridiculous when people try to diminish an undefeated team as "not that good" by trying to nitpick all of their wins. Its also why I say this board sucks at statistics.

It's fruitless..

MSB logic: if you have one loss you're automatically better than a team with two.

It's elementary comprehension. Sadly, if they were more aware, they'd realize LSU is getting screwed

who have they beaten? So we are giving points to teams for getting crushed by better teams now? No idea where you guys come up with this stuff.

Last years team should have no bearing on the discussion in my opinion.

Using your logic of sample size, let's go back over the last 10 years. Let's open up that sample size as to decrease chance statistics boy. What conference has consistently dominated the others including National Champiomships? How much credit do you give MSU for rising to the top in the toughest division?

How many OOC teams have beaten a SEC West team this year?
