re: What is your deer hunting situation?

I own my land: 50 acres in Mississippi. It's not huge, but it's surrounded by prime hunting territory for hundreds of acres around.

So we get a lot of deer just passing through.

I have a large food plot in the center of the property and some smaller ones along a power line that runs through the property.

I have a massive box stand cleverly hidden in a clump of trees overlooking the central food plot, and climbing stands along the trails in the woods surrounding it.

It's an ideal spot for the many young hunters in our family, as it's easily accessible, full of wildlife and small enough for us to control without a huge effort.
