I spent some free time setting up a mining operation, no money though. It was really fascinating learning about the way they work. Essentially you set up your operation and begin getting the currency deposited to your online wallet. Then once everything is finally running correctly a hacker will hack into the servers of the crypto currency you chose, and overnight you will lose half of its "value". So you go from your farm buying you lunch everyday, to Mondays and Fridays only, and you better like hot n spicy mc chicken sandwiches. It really was fun though, but only bc it was the houses money I was playing with.
