I like Wes movies, but I didn't really care for Moonrise Kingdom.

His style is definitely an homage to comedies like Harold and Maude and The Graduate, so I wouldn't call it original, but I like it nevertheless.

I randomly put on a silent movie called Warning Shadows (Schatten – Eine nächtliche Halluzination) on Netflix the other night and it introduced all the characters in a way very reminiscent of how Anderson tends to open his films.

It was interesting to see.

I wanted to like it, but it was awful. So very, very bad.

The Graduate is a comedy? News to me. I watched it with my gf when we first started dating and it was very awkward.
