A good N.H. candidate ( home grown ) might have won the N.H. Senate.
Exit polls showed that 56 percent of the N.H. voters thought Brown hadn't lived in N.H. long enough to be their Senator.
That is a high number to overcome.
Good candidate, but N.H. voters are quirky.

But there were none. None. There is only one very popular Republican politician statewide, and that person has very high favorability ratings across the board. The problem is that a Senator can only occupy one Senate seat at a time.
