Republicans gained 57 seats in re-taking the NH House ! They also increased their majority in the NH Senate, as well as re-taking the majority on the 5-member Executive Council, while taking back one of the two Dem. held seats in the U.S. House.

All this republican success in NH yet they couldn't beat an obamabot in Shaheen.

Shaheen really must be political royalty up there.

Dem Governor Hassan also won, as did the other Dem congresswoman. So it's not like Shaheen was the exception.

The only two statewide races went to the Dems., largely due to liberal "pockets" around the state that went heavy on Shaheen and Hassan. Relying on such concentrated areas of support results in taking a beating in apportioned races.
