but if im going to lose either way this week, what good is sacrificing this week for the next 3 ? that's my dilemma

I'm just taking the loss this week.

Its either that or drop Oliver to pickup a TE. Nah.

Yeah, I think a lot of the decision comes down to how legitimate of a shot you have at winning this week if you make some sacrifices. How tough is your opponent and if you can get decent acquisitions.

I'm a Gostkowski owner and in first place in both league. I'm dropping Randle or Andre Johnson right before kickoff and keeping Gostkowski. And in the other I'm playing with no kicker since I can't drop anyone on my bench.

Well that's no guarantee you lose this week nor is winning out. I'd do what I can to improve my chances of winning this week and not be 4-6 and rely on winning out. I've been projected to score 120+ points in a standard this year and scored 60 and lost to someone who scored 70. shite happens.
