They are us, but in the future. So yes, they originated from Earth.
They evolved to the point where they can manipulate time and create wormholes and shite. They created the wormhole so present day humans could escape Earth and eventually evolve into 5th dimensional humans as well.

Well, the origin of their species was from Earth, but they'd evolved to such a point to "where" they are from is a moot point. 5th dimensional beings exist everywhere and every time simultaneously.
