From many accounts he really pissed off NFL scouts who came to Rutgers with his petty rules & prick of an attitude. He made no friends in the league, so his best bet may be back in college.

The article touches on that, and I remember reading about that when it was falling apart for him last year in Tampa. It's pretty ridiculous, especially considering how putting kids in the NFL is an enormous selling point in recruiting, and it's no wonder why guys like Saban and Meyer are landing blue chip recruits left and right while also rolling out the red carpet for scouts.

His style just doesn't fit the NFL - you can't be a dictatorial autocrat until you win something. Judging by how many college programs and coaches he has visited, he probably seems to agree. I think he'll do well wherever he winds up, especially if he's able to put all he's learned into action.

Saban's issue in NFL, although he did better than Schiano.

He just couldn't control grown arse men making more money than him as well as he can control every aspect of a college program.

Some personalities are just meant for college and some for pro.
