Give those guys some more technologically advanced gear. I mean shite, it's 2014 and cops still waddle around with big,bulky arse radios and footling flashlights. And why the frick do they need pepperspray? That shite is for paranoid women to use while jogging.

Not ONE cop in the history of the US has ever been killed by a dog. Departments would be doing themselves the biggest favor in the world if they all publicly announced they will never shoot a dog again unless it has ALREADY bitten them and is still an immediate threat. They also would need to announce that any officer who violates the policy will be terminated and arrested. It would not change how safe they are AT ALL and would gain them a ton of goodwill from the public. Once they do this they should probably work on not shooting black people with a pocket knife when they have 8 officers there but this would be a great start.
