So i tried to turn on the gas fireplace yesterday morning, and no gas was coming out. I just spent 20 minutes on hold at ATMOS and finally hung up. Any ideas on solutions? I'm starting to loathe atmos energy due to their terrible customer service.

I seriously doubt that your problem has anything to do with them. Do you have other gas appliances working?

This is not an atmos problem, and atmos has much better customer service than centerpoint anyway.

Monday mornings are the busiest CS times of the week too.

You have a valve turned off or need a plumber if you can't handle it yourself.

I've noticed while lighting mine that takes a while for the gas to actually reach the fireplace unit. I have to hold the knob on the "Pilot" setting while intermittently clicking the ignite button for about 3-5 minutes.
