re: If you're arrested in LA, are you drug tested and put in drug court if you fail?

I've even seen People bail out of jail on a gun poss charge, come to court while out on bail and the judge order a drug screen and when he failed (altho his arrest didn't have anything to do with drugs) the judge revoke his bond and refuse to set another and he had to wait his time in jail until he finalized his charges.
