Will not be as bad as you think. Down So. the Gulf of Alaska helps moderate temps. In the late 80's I worked on the P/L in Dec and Jan north of Fairbanks (mile post 200). Average temp while I was up there was -22f. Low -40+ high +15. Alyeska p/l provided us with special issue parka and bibs. If you can find a set at surpluus store in Alaska they are the best money can buy. Make this trip an adventure if you have never been to Alaska. Any off time you have explore and enjoy.

yeah coastal AK is relatively mild in November. Kenai is the exception. It's about like Anchorage and will be in the twenties-teens. Seward and homer are warmer
