What tool let's his wife schedule the wedding date?
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:51 am to geauxtigers87
She said this will only happen once... but she's wrong, a lot of people get married twice.

Btw, even scheduling on the bye week can be risky if you pick it a year in advance. The schedule can change in the offseason.
Simple solution: Friday night wedding if in the fall

What sports fan doesn't think of football schedule when hearing fall wedding? It's the only concession I got
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:52 am to Black n Gold
Over/Under 5 as the number of times this count has complained about a friend's wedding date before.
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:55 am to LSUChamp06
It's going to suck for her when her wedding is just close friends & family who would rather be watching the game.

It's the 21st century and everyone has smart phones to keep up with the game and dvd to watch the game at a later time
Thanks for telling me how to consume the game.

Will there be a TV at the game? NO because this is a wedding and not a football party
I wish I could say something besides "frick you, bitch", but this is all I can think of.
She is like most other brides, it seems. She thinks it is some sort of huge privilege to be at her wedding. Guess what? NObody really gives a frick about your wedding or most other weddings, for that matter.
I am glad she got put in her place. She says everyone is all excited about her wedding….then the attendee list shrunk considerably when the guests found out it conflicted with the LSU game. Well guess what, Bridezilla, I am going to guess that all those people really were NOT that excited about your wedding after all….

well, she doesnt know shite about sports obviously because she said:
"winning or losing this game will have no effect on what bowl LSU gets"
she even said "those are facts"

I'd be willing to bet she put this out there to get support and it has boomeranged on her. Who the frick openly admits to the game AND then says no tv what a bitch

Her wedding date was set back in early December, and after changing the date three times, November 8, 2014 was the only date where everything (church, hall, photographer, etc.) was available. The couple was so worried about finding a date that worked, they never even had a chance to consider looking up football schedules.
I wonder why it was all available???
Maybe because other people had the sense not to schedule that day.
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:56 am to Black n Gold
No sympathy for her. Why do you think all those wedding services are available on November 8 anyhow?
Because people with more sense are not scheduling weddings that day!
Damn, I mean, the first thing you do when planning a wedding is pick a date. And you're not going to research to find out if it's a "good" or "bad" date for your guests?
Google "November 8 Louisiana" and guess what the second hit is? LSU v. Alabama.
fricking idiot.

and god forbid its an awesome game and something special happens
everyone at her wedding will probably resent her for making them miss it

There was a reason it was open, everyone else knew there was a football game that night...

THIS is insight that must be applauded.

Guy she's marrying has to be a huge pussy. We planned our wedding on the bye week during the 08 season. We weren't missing a game.
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:59 am to SpqrTiger
How did they not know that the first saturday of november is the bama game?
Posted on 10/30/14 at 8:59 am to LSUChamp06
N
and they never thought....hey, I wonder why nothing is booked this day?
ETA: DJ...trashy wedding anyway

You do realize that the football schedule is not out years in advance? Most couples set that date 1-2 years in advance once engaged(especially if it's a very popular venue).
I mean.....everyone has the right to just not go if they don't want to.
