Worth quite a bit. That's why I asked 
It's possible that there were profound mitigating circumstances, or extensive mitigation provided, that swayed the judge. Or he's an idiot. It's hard to say with how little information we have.

This case was a bench trial. The boyfriend told the cops (on tape) that she did it. During trial he recanted and said he couldn't remember. She was out on bail the entire time and now lives in Florida. The Judge seems to have just wanted her gone without any significant consequences.
