The issue is we were completely non competitive for 3.5 quarter s against State and barely even showed a pulse against Auburn. Yes, those two teams are some of the highest ranked, but the losses were very lopsided. That has to be taken into consideration.

Having said that, we are playing much better now, and a win next Saturday will likely get us close to (if not, in) the top 10.

Not the final score on one of those.

Ok, now explain Mississippi barely showing a pulse in their loss to us being number four?

If they are four, how is a team that dominated them in every way but the final score 19?

A bunch of monkey's could almost have done as well.

But prior to the season, the committee said that they would take into consideration teams that look stronger later on than in earlier contests. You would think people with the real say over the rankings, would do simple checks to see that we lost tons of players early to the draft, starting a team full of youth, and it took time for the right pieces to get into place and get experience.

I'm not saying we should be top 10 or anything, but anybody who is not an idiot, can see that we have greatly improved. What's even better, is that we are always stronger after a bye week.

I saw somewhere that they took all of 12 hours to come up with these rankings. WTF?

Anyway, what are the big bowl games after the playoff bowls? Are there just two? Do we have a shot at either if we win out regardless of others in the West?

IMO, if we win out at 10-2, we tie for second, or finish third in the West.

I really don't get you. The team LSU fielded early in the year does not even resemble the team that LSU is putting on the field now. You keep harping on those losses....but most out there understand that LSU was very young, and figured they would get much better. It's kind of like last year when LSu beat the dog shite out of Auburn.

I think 19 is pretty bad...I was expecting somewhere around 14 or 15....but it doesn't matter.....LSU wins out they will be a top 10 team before it's over. They win out and get some help, they will be a top 4 team.
