re: best steel toe work boot

I like my ariats. Been wearing them for about a year and a half. Got some twisted x's in April and I like them a lot too but don't wear them to work. In January when I get new boots I'll start wearing my twisted x to work. As far as steel toes cutting your toes off if something heavy enough lands on them, do you really think you're keeping your toes if you didn't have the steel toes or if you had composite and the same heavy object fell on your feet? They'd be crushed either way.
