Appointments of judges, etc. will be far different.
A Republican Congress can slow down the Obama regime, but you are correct; unless we get our POTUS elected we can't implement all the changes that are needed.

republicans had the house, senate and presidency and still yet couldn't implement the changes that were needed. The situation is not oging to change with chris christie in office, or even rand paul

would make almost no difference at all, most Repukes would throw up their hands and say "we can't get rid of this now, our citizens/voters depend on it" and the ones who would do something will be outnumbered by the Rinos, party R's and Dems, who love big D.C. govt as usual.
