Just like it did the Big 10 pre-2000? ESPN is going to promote, and talk about who is playing good football. Should they spend a lot of time covering UM and Ohio State over Auburn and Alabama? One rivalry is a playoff game, and the other hasn't mattered in over a decade. Don't blame ESPN, blame the shitty football in other conferences.

This is EXACTLY what people are talking about. ESPN has brainwashed the masses into believing that no other conference plays good football except the SEC. Its that type of promoting that leads to comments like "Dont blame ESPN, blame shitty football in other conferences". If you actually read the article, it points out how there is just that...shitty football being played by half the conference. That is something SEC fans just dont want to hear.
