We have a blue ray player in the dash with a flip down TV for the rear passangers.

I am trying to avoid the need for disks. I can load the movies onto a SD card as the vehicle has a reader for that.

I was looking to find a way to stream netflix. apple TV seems to be the best bet but it still needs a signal.

If I recall correctly, with iOS 8, you can now stream media on an iOS device to a (3rd generation only) Apple TV via bluetooth instead of only via wifi. If you have movies stored in an iPad, iPod, or iPhone, then use those devices to shoot your movies to the Apple TV. No more need for a data signal.

I need to try and do this. Can you put that blu ray torrent in the Yukon on your card and view the movie?
