Rewatching the game for the first time. It obviously got in his head and affected his play. Need to bring it even harder for Sims. I think he could be similarly affected.

Was anyone close to that section, so we can get cliffs of what was said? Just curious.

Yeah, I think it was the first time Bo realized he was actually playing tackle football, not intramural flag football.

Gotta admit, it was bit strange that their antics(whatever they might have been) caused him to respond...more than once.

Also, is this the first 'taunters' appreciation thread? I've seen a TRex guy thread before I think, but never a taunters.

Well done heckling-college-kids, irritate on!

Wallace has a personality that lends itself to being very responsive to heckling. He's a punk. He's insecure, as you can tell from him holding up "number 3" and pointing to the scoreboard. In other words, he's like a middle school football player trapped in a college quarterback's body. He can't handle succes or failure. He was very easy prey for Death Valley.

I can guarantee you that Saban would never let his quarterback act this way. I do not expect Sims to be affected by much except for the difficulty of communication from noise.

Agree with all of this, including Simms. One thing I noticed was that he, Wallace, seemed WIRED before the game even started. Get some early film just before the game and take a look at his posture and the look on his face, he looks anything but at ease from the start.

I highly doubt it.

Wallace is a whiney douche, Sims not so much

Saban will have Sims in a protected bubble like we did Mettenburger his first year. The rest of the offense will be open to heckling though.

Wasn't football, but back in the skip bertman hayday, was at Zephyr field and sat behind the Tulane bullpen and we rode those guys all game. LSU beat them like 18-1. Want to say late 1990's cause I remember Brad Cresse was on the team and hit a bomb.

Didn't drop any f bombs, but just heckled the shite out of them.
