My community borders a local migrant village. They show up by the hundreds each year. Many don't have costumes and don't even make much of an effort to dress up.

I honestly don't mind the kids coming through. I'm happy to see them with a smile on their face.

What I find baffling is the adults who come through demanding candy. In addition, if the lights are off it means we're in bed. Don't ring my doorbell at midnight looking for a handout.

Don't take it out on the kids, it isn't their faults. The adult though...
