This - games are not capped as tightly as say NFL or NBA.

I'll grab sides on Monday/Tuesday I know that are going to be chalk as the week goes on. When the public piles on throughout the week I have no problem riding the public wave with the best of the number.

I agree. But ChemE seems to pick his spots better than blindly betting every game with sharp cash on it.
