You can't remove the live round from the chamber and insert it into the magazine while the magazine is attached due to the top rail of the gun. I can do this with my A-Bolt. This means you have to remove the magazine from the gun to unload it properly, which takes me back to my first complaint above.

Other than that, I love the gun. It shoots great and handles even better.

Seems kinda petty to me but its your rifle. I love my tikka and Sako and hey both have a mag. To me the mag is better then the 700's I have. I do however like the fact that I can push my round down into the gun and close the bolt empty but it's not a big enough deal to not buy another.

.308 out of those two for the op. OP what other calibers do you have because that may change my vote.
