Students were awesome last night...but...

The Wave? You're team is down 7-3 to the number 3 team in the country, and backed deep into its own end zone. And you try to start the Wave going? If you have to do it at all the wave is for when you're up by 28 and bored.
All you're going to wind up doing is making loud crowd cheers when the stadium should be quiet. And distracting the crowd from the game.
Is it the band that usually tries to start the Wave?

It was the fans in the west side trying to start the wave. They were being loud and I didn't understand it at all.

I never even noticed the wave was trying to start. Nobody in my section did it.

I must have missed that. I was too busy alternating between yelling as hard as I could bear on defense and resting on offense.
Seriously I'm still hoarse. It was my best performance since Florida 07 and its obvious I wasn't the only one. The fans really came through on this one.

You guys will complain about anything: cup throwing, the wave, paper airplanes, people standing, mike not coming to the game, students leaving early, etc. Does it ever end?

I yelled at the kids around me so hard when they started that crap. These young bucks have no idea how idiotic the wave really is. We were losing...and they started the wave. The guy standing behind me said we need to have a class titled "How to act in the student section 101".

While I share your opinion of the wave....
jesus christ. Can we go one week without someone complaining about our fans/students? The atmosphere was amazing on Saturday night and if we can do it again on Nov. 8th I won't care if people are trying to start the wave during the first drive of the game.
