I honestly don't think I would be able to coach the night after losing my mom. I know his mom was 90+ but still that's a hard thing to do. Just another reason why I support CLM. GEAUX TIGERS.

How people don't love this guy. I don't get it.

I just watched that, an undisclosed amount of tears were had. It's always easier to say after a win but dammit I love Les Miles. He is a bigger man that I can only dream to be and is the perfect role model for the kids on the football team.

Not watching that right now. Don't feel like crying.

Les Miles is awesome though.

No matter what one thinks of Les as a coach, how can anyone not respect him? The guy just seems like a man that anyone would want their sons playing for. He is just steady, confident and unflappable.

I lost a parent recently(my dad) so I totally sympathize with what CLM is going through. Not going to lie I got a little choked up at the end of the game cause he wasn't there to experience that.

I could have ever handled it the way he did today.

God bless him and his mom. May she rest in peace.

I wouldn't trade Les for any other coach. He may make me crazy sometimes, but he's 100% class and wins a helluva lotta games.

I'm starting to have flashbacks to 2007. This team could have some magic in them if the stars begin to align. Plenty of football left to be played.

i understand now on what he means by being aggressive and trying to find ways to win. i bagged on him for the lack of passing.. but when you have a qb that's still not proven and oline that is new to zone-blocking scheme.. i see why he calls nothing but run plays.

Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent. You're too awesome, kind, strong, and smart.

Love you, Les.

This guy. Some of his decisions leave me scratching, but this man never fails to get me to fall in love with him time and time again. As a human being, it doesn't get any better than him and he's a damn good coach on top of it. To you, Coach

Game Ball - Well-deserved.

I understand what he's saying about being seen as an aggressive man, and I commend him for thinking of the good of the team, but I think this a different type of situation. There were a lot of great performances in that game, and I think that there was probably some extra motivation for the players to do it for their coach.
