curious what you guys think..

lets leave social media out. That's a given. So is networking..i am always doing that.

Mailing list is personal..thinking of endorsements. I have a small marketing budget. Any out of the box ideas? Just curious what you guys think.

Like you said, Networking. Word of mouth is very strong with catering. I also think Wedding expo's, church meetings, corporate events. Find out who runs these meetings and get your food in front of them for a sample.

Wrapped box truck, move it around busy parking lots when you are not on a job, turns into a mobile bill board and doubles as truck you can use on the job

You should be on the first page of Google for "catering 'city name'".

That's free traffic after you pay someone to attempt to get you there.

Adwords is probably the best value\return by far for this type of business, its scalable. If someone wants catering they will ask friends and\or google

Figure out the local drug reps/industry reps in the area and bring them a free lunch or dessert with your menu attached to it?
