One of my favorite bass players--and vocalists too, at least his stuff with Cream. He said one of his goals with Cream was to push the bass out from behind the guitar, and he did this in a spectacular way that actually enhanced the sounds of the other musicians. A good dude gone.

Huge loss. Watch "Tales of Brave Ulysses" from the Smothers Bros show, Bruce absolutely dominates and was the star in that band. And that is in no way a knock on EC.
