Did a 6 week travel assignment in Honolulu as an ER/Trauma Nurse and visited Maui while in Hawaii. Definitely would recommend.

Yes and loved it. Stayed at Sheraton Maui. Did everything that has already been mentioned and want to do it again. I've been to places that were cheaper and I liked better. I've seen better water,better beaches, much better diving and snorkling too. However, Maui has a uniqueness to it that you won't find anywhere else.
The road to Hana is one of the most memorable things I've ever done on vacation. The land changes and environments you go through are unreal.
