I judge a person for their actions
No matter the color, politics, religion, etc...
Now, are there times in human history when a group within someones race, religion, etc. Has made it possible to give stereotypes because of actions by some within any given group. Sure that's happened, and anyone who cant admit that much isn't being to real about things. Few possible examples: Christians with a huge red cross on their chest was bringing the sword pain if you were against God. Non Christians had good reason to avoid some guy with a huge red cross on their chest coming over the hillside. White kids with their hair slicked back(Greased) around the 5o's/6o's. Plus, kids with a cigarette pack folded up in their shirt sleeves was thought to be bad news too. A white person with chains attached to their wallet, crew cut, and work boots was stereotyped as a skinhead around the 90's when work boots were the bomb. Teenage blacks that look like many rap videos promoting gang life makes people nervous. Other blacks get nervous when a group of young men look like this. Right now a majority of people are stereotyping Muslims as terrorist. The good Muslims get labeled terrorist because headgear, accent, and being Mideastern decent. I feel bad for all the good people that get wrongfully stereotyped in all the above situations, but to get upset because people do so, doesn't seem fair when there's understandable reasons for these stereotypes. I used to get asked if I was a skinhead in the 90's. When I used to wear work-boots(When it was a fad), had crew cut, wallet chain, and of course being white. Having the right mix of looks/items made me look the part of a skinhead, but I wasn't a sorry hateful racist pig. Once I found out just how popular this skinhead stereotype look was, I only wore work boots while actually working, found a different way to protect my wallet from falling out, and denounced the practice of skinheads evil actions wherever a chance arose.
These three kids bad actions tell me who they are, but unfortunately they'll be stats that help the stereotyping that's happening.
