Palin is the convenient punching bag for the Democrats. Yes, she was in over her head when she was nominated for the Republican VP. Hell she would be in over her head if nominated for town dog keeper.
But she is not a true reflection of the Republican party. She is what she is... someone who lucked into gig that was way above her head.
Republicans like Palin not for what she is... a clueless tit... but for what she represents and most of us long for. A plain spoken, competent, outsider who is willing to address the issues that need to be fixed.
We were hoping for Teddy Roosevelt, we got Teddy Kennedy but with a white trash spin.
