WATSON, LA (WAFB) - Deputies said three men were arrested in connection with the theft of items from 25 to 30 unlocked vehicles in a neighborhood.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office reported Racey Ford, 21, of Walker, Jacob Anderson, 21, of Prairieville, and Michael Terrell, 18, of St. Amant, were all booked on three counts of simple burglary and resisting an officer. Deputies said Terrell posted a $45,500 bond and was released. The other two suspects were still in jail as of Wednesday evening.
Sheriff Jason Ard said deputies were called to the Richmond Place subdivision in Watson early Tuesday morning. Officials said vigilant residents helped detectives identify three suspects in the investigation of the break-ins. Investigators said between $3,000 and $6,000 worth of laptops, GPS devices, sports equipment and other items was taken.
