Has anyone attended a game in TS while using crutches?

Purchased tickets, NEZ lower bowl, for the Bama game a few months ago. I broke my leg this weekend and will be in this full leg cast for the next 8 weeks.
I am trying to decide if it would be worth the trouble to go to the game or should I just sell the tickets?

Go to the game. My SO did a whole season in the student section on crutches. You'll be fine.

You should probably just give them to me.

Many of us used alcohol as a crutch to get us through the Hallman years.

My cousin did it. He just got blackout drunk. It was glorious.

I did back when I was in high school. Had a few blisters under my arm pits from all of the rubbing.

I have had a couple of instances of physical issues and still have to walk with a hiking stick. My experience has been that the fans, security, etc. were all very gracious towards me when I went. If you're up to it, go on.

If you show up in a wheel chair you will probably get on the elevators and better seats...
ETA: not necessarily a better seat, but a better location for your wheel chair haha

2011 in Knoxville, I had stitches all up the bottom of my foot and brother had a knee injury. We both crutched up and down hills to get to Neyland stadium. Our only breaks consisted of shotgunning the remaining beer we had. This made it a lot less miserable. People working in the stadium didn't know if we were serious or not, and actually pointed us to the wrong section to our seats.
Anyway, your armpits might be sore, but it's definitely worth it if you have the tickets. Go and have fun, totally worth it. If we win, you'd be upset if you weren't there.

I've done it before but I was younger and not in a cast, just a brace on my knee. It wasn't too bad but I can imagine life in general sucking with a full leg cast, let alone going to a game. Good luck with everything.

Honest question: would it make sense for you to use a wheelchair for the game and get one of the handicapped seats? (Not sure if you have to buy those seats in advance or if you can somehow trade your current tix for them, maybe through the ticket office in advance?) I'm assuming you already have a temporary handicapped placard for parking; if not, your doc will hook you up with whatever you need to show the ticket office.
If you think you're physically up to it, go for it, but be realistic. I know that when I had knee surgery a few years back, the things that were the biggest pain in the arse were things that required me to be in a small-ish space where I couldn't stretch my leg out in front of me. Since you're forced to sit with your leg straight you are going to physically take up a lot of space, which always made me feel a little awkward. (Plus I was always worried about people tripping over me and hurting my knee, especially when surrounded by drunks.)

Yes. I've leaned on Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, Jim Beam and the most interesting man in the world.
