I'm not excited about this movie at all. I thought the trailers so far have been dreadful (the voice overs were so over the top I saw them as jokes). I like Michael wine but I HATE how he's used in Nolan movies. His character always serves as the guide to the protagonist and is always saying some inspirational bullshite. I am not buying that this is a scientific movie at all (Prometheus also tried to be lol). Nolan is a mass market director. He has to appeal to the mindless masses and most of them can't understand complicated scientific concepts or even simpl ones like fricking gravity. I don't suspect this movie will challenge me intellecuslly and I feel like that's what this movie is trying to do. Also, the planets we've seen so far seem boring compared to even just the moons in our solar system. Big waves, earth like volcanoes. Ugh. I feel like this movie has potential, but I'm not buying it yet. I'm in a bad mood.

Do you understand the concept of the mentor? What's next? Getting pissed because Morgan Freeman always plays the smart black guy?

You're an idiot.

Please tell me you're trolling.

They're looking for an Earth-like planet that can harbor humanity and grow plants. Why the frick would they seek a planet like Venus or Titan that while cool could not even feasibly support Earth life? They want to find another Earth.

There are so many funny things about this. One is that I guarantee you don't understand gravity but think you do. It certainly isn't a simple scientific concept.

Very excited about this movie.

1. You're not as smart as you think you are.
2. What you said about Nolan having to appeal to the mindless masses is bull shite. Memento, The Prestige, Inception - sure, everyone can enjoy them, but those movies appeal to intelligent, thoughtful audiences as much as any.
