My thoughts as well. I love getting that feeling of being deep in the pocket and just grooving the hell out. You don't get that with e-kits IMO

Remember, this would be for a beginner. So how much of that stuff mentioned would one actually be missing out on in the initial stages anyway?
I also like the idea of electric because I like to record using my DAW.
