Mixed feelings. Personally I won't own one unless I'm space limited.

They have pluses. Don't have to tune and change heads. Can program different sounds. Smaller footprint. BUT they just don't feel or sound the same IMO.

Personal preference I guess

Having sat in on a few over the years, I've learned to hate them. No dynamics, no natural response or "feel", phantom triggers, "miss-hits"; etc. I only see one useful purpose for electronic kts: Rehearsal kit for drummers who live in an apartment. But, that's just me...
