Got a private session in firearms instruction with a leading instructor for 2 1/2 hours today. That was a damn workout. We worked with my Taurus .38 and then Glock 23. Said if I could shoot with the .38, the semis would be easier. That was a damn workout. WOrkout on my back anyway. Whatever I thought I knew about guns went out the window in 2 seconds. Was alot of fun.
I highly recommend hiring an instructor for a couple of private sessions. Well worth it.

That's why women are easier to teach to be good shots than men who've been shooting their whole lives. You don't have to break bad habits. They learn it right from the beginning and suddenly they're lighting up the guys. My dad taught thousands of people to shoot and that was one thing he always said. I'd go to his classes and damn near every time when they'd get to the range, some woman that had never shot before was smoking pretty much everybody or at least hanging with them.
Used to crack me up when there's be cops in the class getting their arse handed to them by a chick because they thought they knew better than the instructor. He had a room pretty much completely filled with trophies but apparently that's not impressive enough to bother listening when you think you know what you're doing because you can shoot as well as your average cop. I used to embarrass the hell out of those guys when I was less than ten years old. The old man would even warn them beforehand.
Ego is not good for shot placement.

I think I would turn the gun on myself after 2.5 hours
I love to shoot but after a while I get to where I've had enough
