Obama too, will have his rigid loyalists, those who will deny mountains of evidence, believing they must defend him from the harsh assessment of history. Orthodox Faith is impervious to fact or reason. Liberal Orthodoxy dies hard. Liberal true-believers will defend it to the bitter end, reflexively rearranging the deck chairs to create a better aesthetic, after all the sensible people have abandoned the Titanic.
